Biography
Alon Shepherd - Biography
Alon Shepherd, born in Israel, grew up in Karkur, in the center of Israel and was
inspired by nature art and music since early childhood. In 1996 he migrated to
Australia and is now residing in Byron Bay, NSW.
Alon sees himself as a translator of the inner most feelings and experiences of
what is called ‘The Heart’, through lines, colors and forms he expresses his
gratitude and understanding for life and connection to nature. Serving in the front
line and experiencing the 1973 ‘Yom Kippur’ war between Israel and Egypt has
made him take a vow to dedicate himself to help bring peace through his art and
writing. His project “Journey for Peace” is an ongoing life commitment.
